I managed to get very ill over the week/end (I threw up a quick You Tube clip to to share one of the foulest things that I have ever produced from my neck - available in HD :). Maybe I am a swine flu survivor, or since I am not out of the woods yet, maybe I will die from it - some poetic, karma, justice type of thing.

I did end up leaving the Clorox compound for a brief moment today and whilst returning to my vehicle I noticed something most wonderful. There was a beat up Toyota next to me, weathered gold paint and the trunk emblem had been thieved or pawned. Just a few steps further and that is when I saw it - in all of its unadulterated glory, protecting this amazing car was a "Club". For you young folk, the "Club" was protecting cars back before OJ started killing people.

This week's internet gold, and with two minutes to spare...
This was our first weekend together. We were lying face to face in her bed, with my hand around her waist I just watched her peaceful eyes and beautiful smile. Her slender lips slowly began to separate and her words are still echoing.

"If I get pregnant, we split the cost of the abortion-OK?. It's how I've always done it."

What do you say to that? Sure...? Nothing was said at the time, but during a love making session that followed I remember her asking as to why I seemed so distant. "I just keep seeing our accident-to-be-announced sucked out of you in this big tube. Kind of like a meaty Slurpee." Those simple words, so quickly battered that moment to a stubborn death. At least it cleared up my schedule long enough to get some needed yard work done.

Well the excuse for the Dub... I am not ready to share that secret just yet. I need to pick up a lot of pieces. For those of you that have been trying to track me down, which is very few - I will find you. I am going to aim for this Wednesday's WWW-update, but no promises - since those only ensure failure. My focus is a little off as of late due to life as of recent. What I need to do is step out of this gigantic vat of steaming feces and focus on the site. At least it's safer here...

Week 47 of the digiCam has some photos from Chris' birthday. The after dinner entertainment were a few bands at Burt's Tiki Lounge; Mountain Standard Time from Colorado (their violinist - it was pure zen to watch her movement when she plays). The Radio Rhythm Makers (which also had this adorable woman. I am not trying to take away from the bands or their talent. I enjoyed them all, but really - women make the world good. Anyhow I had noticed her when she came in, something about her stuck out. Then when she took stage, it made a little more sense... Still not sure what it is about her. Maybe she'll become famous, or maybe one day she'll be walking down my street and see me hunched over from some bad lawn mowing accident. At which point she stops and helps me dislodge the blade from my thick cranium. She seems like she'd be nice like that.). Last but not least the heavy, headlining, Henchmen. That just sounds powerful. Good times were had I think, sadly I only remember women and music nowadays. Hmm, that is good enough.

I need new camera gear... forming actual sentences, using correct grammar, all of that would be nice too. ...one day at a time.

Queensday in Amsterdam can perhaps best be compared to Mardi Gras. The whole city is turned into one big playground and hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country move to our great capital to get fucked up and party. Oh, yes, and it's the day our queen celebrates her birthday.



For me, queensday '09 was one of the best in years. The weather was good and so was the company: an old friend of mine and two new friends who moved to Amsterdam from the States only a couple of months ago. We met up at their place, in the east of town, and from there on moved ever so slowly towards the city centre. There was no rush. We had beer with us and also an ice cold bottle of delicious pineapple vodka and a chilled bottle of rose wine. Added to that a couple of grams of potent hashish and the freedom to roll up wherever we liked. Good vibes all around.
