Season 5 off to a great start.

So far this season has already blown season 4 out of the water. It seems like they went back to what made the first 3 seasons so great. When watching mafia type shows people I think prefer violent mob bosses instead of soap opera, emotional basket case mob boss. Just my opinion though.

I liked it a lot. Adriana got what she deserved and I can't wait for the final show. I am curious to see if Tony goes to war with John.

Okay, so what do you think will happen at the end of the sopranos?

I'm thinking that "Test Dream" is a forshadowing of Tony's death, probably happening next season. I guessing this mainly because he was with all those dead people in his dream, and Tony is pretty much shooting the fbi's portfolio to shit. All the snitches they have wind up dead, and the bug that they had is out in meadow's room.

I am not sure; I did not really look at the dream sequence as a sign of his death. That’s possible, last time his weird dreams just lead to a lot of killing that had to be done which seems to be the case this time around. I have no idea how this season is going to end. Too many possibilities, hardly any of the players have been on screen this season. Pauly Walnuts has had a bit but Silvio and Uncle Junior have been scarce so maybe one of them is going to die.

Side note: I am still curious what the angle for the blowjob was. I thought maybe it would get Meadows boyfriend whacked, but now that he proposed he’ll get a pass. So where is their angle with that out of character scene? Shock Value, plot twist? 10 days till we know… damnit.

I personally don't care too much for meadow's boyfriend. I mean, he's probably an okay person, but seems a little too wimpy. I can't believe she's buying into the whole marrage thing with him.

As far as the blowjob thing goes, who knows. Maybe vito will rape meadow's boy, then whack him. And Meadow seeks revenge, and ends up taking over the family business. (doubtful)

David Chase has a bunch of loose ends to tie up in just the few episodes that are left, and that's besides the whole "who runs the crazy horse", "what happened to the russian, or furio for that matter?" and "how the hell can Tony afford insurance after trashing cars left and right?" questions.
Shit, there should be a drinking game. A Car crashes, take a shot.

The thing I'm wondering is if the hellstorm that's going to be rained down is on Tony's mob-family, or family-family. Maybe Johnny S. resorts to arson as retaliation for Tony S denying Phil his revenge, amd burns Artie's restaurant (again!) Maybe that's why artie was in the car with all the dead guys, he dies in the fire.

Well Furio was somewhat tied up. They mentioned somewhere along the line that after he made Tony mad he headed back to Italy for safty/hiding. The russian I am still curious about and now with season 5 over I wonder if some of the old ends will even get closure. We have to wait till 2006 for the remaining 10 episodes... I can't wait, this season ended up with everything falling in to place for Tony, the battle of families is squashed, mostly thanks to that rat is Sacs family also he's back with his wife. It's shitty that Steve Buscemi died, I was hoping for some psycho bit before the season was out.
