Lovin it.
Oh man, not me. I love pool. Poolhall junkies is alright. Clean tables, great food, and the crowd is so-so. Anyone up for a game? I used to kick acidprime's ass up in OR while I was up there. He's quite the player too.

I love shooting pool at Ritz (State St. about 2100 S., just north of I-80). Some of my friends say it's too seedy, but I like it. Nice big room, some full-size tables, and cheap. I like going at lunch, when it's usually empty. The tables get hammered pretty good, so you have to check the rails before you pick one, but they're pretty good about getting them repaired/re-felted on a regular basis.

bad tables...
Yeah the second table down (starting from the north side) is pretty fucked up. Poolhall junkie tables are alright. pretty clean. Crowd used to be cool?
Cassady's-OK. Good crowd. Million Dollar Saloon-eh. 50% Cool people, 50% Assholes. Cruisers-pretty good except for the one right next to the end of the bar. Great people. DJ lets you play whatever you want. Andy's-good. Weird crowd sometimes. Port'o'call-Shitty. Slutty scene, yech. The galley(next door to port'o'call)-good. OK crowd. Gatorz-uh.. no sir, I don't like it. Thats all I can spit out so far. - C o l d

I used to dig playing at Spanky's (aka Ya'Buts) before they tore it down. They had a full-size table right at the top of the stairs next to the bar that was awesome. We actually bought that table when they had their going-out-of-business auction. It's set up downstairs at GoodGame right now. It's nice and level with new felt, but we had to put it between two poles, which get in the way sometimes. But it's still a great table.
Playing at the Dead Goat was also fun (before it devolved into the "Crazy Goat"). The tables were small and pretty fucked up, but they were free before 9:00 and the Goat had great atmosphere. |

Cruisers
Well I started playing at Cruisers again. the "beast" is now gone and I can get some games at my old haunts. There was a waitress there that would always let you buy her drinks... since she used to be a stripper she would flash me her tits every now and then. Man she was hot.
8-ball corner pocket!
