WSU Financial Aide Computer
Anyone attending Weber State is going to receive a letter in the mail soon (if you applied for financial aide) telling you that they were hacked and that it's possible your info could be used in Identity theft. I'm a WSU student so I'm kinda miffed.
Is anyone here a WSU student? I'm curious. spacegecko

That is great. I love how government and schools tend to have the worst security and use some of the poorest software.

They just sent out a letter telling people about the hack and giving them a website that tells them how to protect against Identity theft. The letter also stated that they were didn't think any student records were compramised but that just in case they were, to visit the ID theft website and take appropriate measures. I can't remember exactly, but if I find the letter I'll have to scan it.
