PC Laptops: In all honesty, I never thought I would plug this site. I have always liked the guys since they opened up their first shop right around the corner from my old house on 9th & 4th. I bought my first laptop from them and my love for them continued until they started to get buddy-buddy with Super Dolt, at which point their commercials and their essence morphed in to that of Dell's - It was a sad change.

At the time they were local, helpful and their customer service was great. In fact to this day it remains just as good if not better. As time passed (and the fact that I haven't watched TV or listened to the radio in nearly two years) I no longer have memories of those awful ads. Sorry Dan, I just liked the feel you guys had when you were my humble neighborhood silicone peddler, before you got all wacky and crazy with that pseudo car salesman like act. But I won't lie, I am a capitalist - so I can't hold it against you, especially if it works. But getting back on track, in July I wanted to get a new laptop hard drive and I wanted it right then, so rather than patronize Bust Buy, I figured I would give PC Laptops another chance.

I ended up picking up a hard drive only to have it fail a couple of weeks ago, so I called them up to see what can be done. Damnit, I must say I was happy. I took the drive in, popped it out and they gave me a replacement right there on the spot. While I was in the shop I noticed something that made me really happy to see, someone there at PC Laptops likes Hektik. This week's pic 'o' the week I took from inside their store. They are pushing a three monitor setup and look at the background image they are using. If you don't recognize it, check out the original. But all in all they are getting a plug for having good customer service (a dying trend) and for using one of my images - that shit makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Cheers!
