The other day I passed a church when I noticed the sidewalk was covered in chalk messages declaring God's love for us. Now it is one thing to let your bible class toddlers outside with some chalk to hit up the pavement. It is quite another to instruct them to target other kids in spreading the message of God.


I don't know why but I've always felt uncomfortable with strangers telling me Jesus loves me. Who is this Jesus guy? He doesn't even know me! I don't accept or acknowledge him, as far as I'm concerned he doesn't exist. And who are you, stranger, to tell me that some other stranger loves me? I feel emotionally violated. If I had a big time lawyer friend I would sue you. (more pics)

Oh, thank God. I was ready to off myself but now I know at least sombody loves me. Again: wtf?? Good to point out here the mix of Dutch and English (Jezus = Jesus in Dutch; lezen = read). Back to the where and why... frankly, I don't know. A lot of this propaganda was obviously done by small kids, but why in English as well as Dutch?? The whole thing just reeks of forced spontaneity. No kid would come up with something like this itself. So what kind of sick fuck would use kids to produce this religious propaganda, targeted at other kids?? Cometh forward and revealeth thyself.
