2600 Meeting

Well, tomorrow is the first Friday of the Month so that means we're having the 2600 Meeting.

The meetings have been going well and our numbers have grown to the point that we no longer fit in the food court. Well, we fit, but you can't hear anything and when someone is doing a demo not everyone can crowd around a laptop. So, as discussed at the last meeting, we are moving.

We talked about going to the new SLC Library, but they decided not to have extended hours on Friday as they had told me. They close at 6:00pm. This really bothered me because that means if you get off work at 5:00pm you have to get to the library and choose a book within an hour. For a library that cost untold millions to build, it should be open later so we can use it.

We are going to have the meeting in the Marriot Library, Room 1725 at the University of Utah. Directions are here. It is nice and has a projector and internet access for whoever is speaking.

I know we have a few talks lined up, they are as follows...

I miss the Utah 2600 meetings. They sound even better now too. Oh well, I'll just spend my time online. Ooh, how about streaming some video of the talks at it since there will be fast internet?

I can't speak for kenny... but I am guessing there is no chance of getting an address when he doesn't even know him. If so, they would probably have to pull off some crazy shit completely unrelated to social engineering.
