A Treasure Trove of WTF

I call it necrophilia at its finest.

I doubt the U.S. is any better.

The Colonchunder Blowout Special.

Wasted research, time and effort. What I want to know, is when will they stop trying to research common sense?

Michael Crichton drops the cock.

More endless speculation and unneeded panic. Obviously, studying the statistical probability of an actual outbreak based on the people who caught the bird flu .vs. total population is out of the question.

Bizzare ideas to stop global warming.

However, this sounds like the most reasonable solution as opposed to painting everything white.

Unfortunately, due to an unforseen mutation, the potatos come to life and begin feasting upon human flesh.

More news to come...

Right now my immediate coworkers and I are dealing with the looming Daylight Savings Time fixes that need to be applied. The DST patch applied to fix the OS breaks Outlook schedules. Removing the DST fix on the OS to recover the schedule breaks the schedule even more. And this is only one aspect as there are more.

There are some vendors that as of this past Monday (2/12/07) are still working on a "fix" for their programs that are affected by DST. The clock is ticking (no pun intended) and less than a month remains to fix this issue. Embedded systems (such as VCRs) can never be fixed and will remain a hassle until their EOL. Thanks, Congress, for this mess you created.
