I Love You Guys
Okay, kids, I just can't do the Hektik News anymore. I don't have the time or the energy... real life has gotten to be too busy for me to be able to put out a good news section every day.
Who wants my job? PS -- I'm not going anywhere, I'll still be commenting and contributing when I can, I just can't even remotely promise to deliver the News every day.

Shalome, nothing but love. You did a great job, I know what you mean though, I have enough problems checking all the security sites everyday, having to do something like that after I get home for free, thats pushing it.

Oh, a bit of news about the dutch 'hackers' and their 1.5 million-node 'toxbot' zombie network... Apparently, one of the three people arrested used to work as a 'software distributor' for 180Solutions... As a distributor, he got paid a small amount of money by 180Solutions for each new client that was willing to install their software. 180Solutions noticed the sales of this particular person rising dramatically and found out he was installing their software without the client's consent. Upon that, 180Solutions terminated the contract, upon which the dutch 'hacker' started threatening and extorting 180Solutions... Apparently, he DDoSsed loudcash.com for a while... 180Solutions gave him 'a couple of thousand dollars' and told the feds...

Somehow, I'm less than surprised that one of them had links to a known adware company lol. And since there isn't really any new news up, hell, I'll throw together a list

I figure that should be enough to quell the news reading masses for a few hours while I increase my breeding frenzy of the zombie/were-kitten army.
