Yet another goddamned hurricane is headed for the US. At least it's aiming at Florida this time, instead of at a state I actually like.

Google is coming clean about the personally identifiable information it collects from users, giving further details about its privacy policy and how the information is stored and used. For instance, Google's new privacy policy, issued Friday, states that Google may use personal information to display customized content and advertising, develop new services and ensure that its network continues to function. The practices aren't new but weren't explicitly defined previously.

Psycho attorney Jack Thompson's spat with the boys at Penny Arcade just keeps getting funnier and funnier.

Social engineer your way into high-security military positions! All you have to do is lie about your name, where you're from, and what languages you speak, and hope nobody bothers to check up on that shit. Holy crap, you'd think that by now there'd be things like "procedures" or "rules" or "guidelines" or something.

Heh.. I have a great job. If I go get some Cisco training (which my company has offered to pay for), I'll get a nice big fat raise. Just gotta find the right training course and stuff.

I don't want to be a network engineer. Thanks, though..
