It's almost pointless to write a rant as I am 100 percent completely distracted by Everquest 2, or should I say EverCRACK. While the original EQ might be boring to some the new EQ is just fucking amazing. If you are into these time wasters I highly recommend EQ2, but I also recommend World of Warcraft as well. I played that for a bit also and enjoyed it though, it seems to be oriented towards all those Koreans that love Diablo 2. Anyways, pick up one or the other or both, you can't go wrong.

Mmm...Half-Life 2. Almost need to go on another vacation.

Worst idea from Apple since the G4 Cube. The hard drive is part of what made the iPod great, in my opinion. It eliminated the need to carry a bunch of flash cards around with you in the first place.

I guess it's good from a marketing stand-point, but the more faithful Apple fans will hardly consider it. The low price will attract more buyers, but I haven't met anyone yet that says they enjoy swapping flash cards in and out of their MP3 player when they want to hear different music. I guess it's being marketed towards people that have less than a hundred songs in their music library.

Eh. I'll pay a couple extra hundred bucks for a hard drive based iPod any day.

I think it's being marketed towards people who don't feel like spending an outragous amount of money on a hard drive based MP3 but still want Apple stylings and ease of use. Not everyone wants or needs 40 gigs or even 5 gigs of storage for mp3s. I also think that Apple zealots will like it's extremely compact size.

BTW, the G4 Cube while being a failure did become a cult Mac favorite. It's not a collector's item.
