the folks down at the ol' Autozone

First of all, I'm not totaly car smart, but I'm not too dumb either.

for the last 4 months I have been having issues with my car bogging when I would try to accellerate, I have been to like 5 different mechanics and they have all replaced different things and the issues remain.

then about 2 weeks ago the check engine light came on (surprise surprise) and I called the dealer to see about doing a diagnostic to tell me why and they wanted to charge me like $40 - I am poor as hell and refuse to pay that much for them to hook the car up to a computer and tell em whats wrong.

A friend of mine that night told me to go to Autozone because they did the diagnostics for FREE!!!!! yes, free, not $40! I took the car right over, they hooked it up - told me what was wrong and it was ironicly linked to the bogging issues I have been having, he told me the part to replace, showed me how to do it, and 20 mins later my car was fixed! Thanx to the FREE assistance of autozone!

Thank you to them!

I'm having the same problem with my civic. I just paid 130 bucks to fix it and it still does it. Thanks for the tip.

Autozone kicks ass, they just helped James and I with a dead battery for free. Saved 50-60 bucks.

Not only that, but they have two 24-hour locations (13th & State and 5400 S & 4000 West). Perfect for those of us who change their oil at 2 am.
