there's a new restaurant called sawadee? on south temple and 700 e. in a brick building. for six bucks you get a spring roll, plus two sides and rice. lots of vegetarian options, and the coconut curry was maybe the best i've ever had. the food was fresh, the service fast, and i had enough leftovers for dinner. sure as fuck beats going to corporate mcburger for the same price.

I agree. It feels better by supporting non-corporate businesses. Not only is the atmosphere better, but you're not being rushed out the door to finish your food.
