Businesses to avoid
I am starting a thread of businesses to avoid in general. Wether it be shitty service or product this is a place to let people know.
I will start with the Kearns flower patch on 3970 w 5400 s. They have the rudest and most incompetent workers I have ever seen. I ordered flowers from them and not only were they delievered late but were dead the next day. Trying to get some resolvement from the manager was like pulling teeth. So a word to the wise is to avoid this store at all costs. |

big o
i had a bad experience recently with big o tires recently. it's the one located on 3300 south that used to be grandmas tires. i went to have my tires replaced. they did the work, i got my reciept, paid what i owed and got my car back. the next day i recieve a phone call from some fucking douche bag who works behind the counter. he told me that they forgot to charge me 80 dollars for some part i never authorized them fixing, or anything. he immediately got threatening with me when i told him i've never heard of a buisness calling customers requesting that they cough up money for a bookkeeping problem that is damn questionable to me, and also very much not my problem. i'm a nice guy and i don't like to screw anyone over, but i told him that he must be out of his mind calling me requesting more money in a threatening manner. i told him it was their fuckup and they'd just have to eat the 80 dollars. the dude started threatening me saying that he'd get the 80 dollars "one way or another". i was tempted to drive down and toss a brick into his face. instead, i wrote a letter to big o corporate offices and explained that i was recieving threatening phone calls from an employee who thought he could pass off his fuckup onto me. they offered me a free oil change for my "trouble". i told them they lost a customer.

I also had problems with the Flower Patch. I went to the one Downtown though. They delivered late, brought in the wrong flowers and then made me walk to the car to pick up mine! It was bullshit.

I think the subway on foothill is still good. Never had a problem with them or the food.
I would avoid the flower patch at all costs, Every Blooming Thing is the best place in Salt Lake (imo) for floral services and they are really nice people not to mention some beautiful and unique arrangements. One of my least favorite places in Salt Lake is Pibs Exchange. They used to rock but thier prices have gone too high and sometimes the staff is really unprofessional and snobby. I hate to give them a bad review, but I have had more than 3 experiences that were bad.
