Hardware Beg List

Grifter here is the list I spoke about
72 Pin EDO RAM
P1 75 or higher
Slot 1 Motherboard
PGA Socket Motherboard (not FCPGA!)

Any or all of these items will help. Also someone else
could use some of this stuff so if anyone has all of these
items I can pass on what I don't need to this other person.

Also if anyone needs PCI or AGP video cards or PCI NICs I
have some I can part with for free. I also have a Socket 7
Motherboard that may or may not work. Anyone else looking
to get rid of old hardware post here and see if
we call all help each other out. I'm sure all of us have
boxes laying around that need X old part to work again.

I too could use a few pieces of old hardware

A harddrive < 8 gigs (thats right LESS than 8 gigs)
A sound card (I don't care how bad it is even if it is a 4 bit card with 2 voices I will take it)
A CD Drive (Any make, model, or speed)

With these last pieces I will have my bedside MP3/Old game machine. Gotta love how Linux can breath new life into a 233 Mhz.

i have a 4 speed if you can use it let me know and I'll pass it on to grifter and you can pick it up from him or you can just come pick it up from me.......

as for a harddrive check with pollux i think he may still have a few laying around.

ok, anyway, if you really need something, and are willing to pay a few dollars for it, gov't or universities frequently sell really old stuff.

I'm looking for a pentium III ATX mobo, anything abouve 1ghz would be great.

I have an old cd-rom drive 56x

adaptec 50 pin PCI scsi adapter

plus one giant kick ass case with thumb-screws it don't fit my desk!

hey bloodrose i have a slot 1 motherboard, what kind of chip are you putting in it? i think its an old bx chipset and only will handle up to like a PII 300 or 450 i'm not sure, but if u can use it i'll see if i can find it

There is really no reason to not have decent hardware guys. You really need to hook yourselves up with some deals.
