If nothing else, it's a vested economic interest. People are going to get their beer, with the exception of the poor, it just means that they'll be leaving the area/community for it. I mean, I'm from Evanston, so I'm all about Utahans supporting my economy (what little we have), but it's dumb if they think that simply closing a particular street to alcohol sales (which the state thusly the city makes money off of), is going to be their solution. I hate mountain-west politics-either their head is up their ass, or their dick is in a sheep (err, maybe that's just us wyomingites).
