Well, I'm pretty boring so I don't go to SLC much. However, this site can tell you about SLC a bit:

Also, if you're a bit of a geek or astronomy buff, be sure to check out the Clark Planetarium. They have a projection system that beats HDTV for resolution in their planetarium, and Utah's only REAL Imax Theater. They also have a gift shop.
