I would say you are luckier than most i tried to form a meeting back in idaho, i was met with 6 unruly script kids who wanted to create havoc with Back oriphice, aside from actually learn anything useful. sufficed to say i quit trying.

And what is wrong with working there? The fact that we have to put up with stupid people all day long that tend to use compaq bullshit, and expect it to run like a brand new SMP setup with linux? Or is it that most of the people that are hired there are complete fucking morons that have no grasp of what it really means to "know your shit"? Furthermore causing me to have to actually fix the bullshit that they fuck up every time they take a call from a "customer", THEN fix the problem that the customer called about the first time.

2600 is about learning new things, not just technology but socialism, politics, or just meeting people with similiar interests as yourself. I recomend you go to at least one 2600 meeting and try it out.
