Use this thread to post if you will be speaking at the 2600 meeting. Sometimes I don't know when you guys are giving a talk till that day. Just post the topic of discussion and what month you are going to give the talk.

Looks like December will be my last 2600 meeting in SLC, as I'm moving back east in January. Thanks to the hektik crew for making the 2600 scene here so great. I only hope that back in Vermont the meetings are put together half as well.

As a going away present, I'd like to do a talk about file compression, and hopefully some results of my attempts to hack Ucomic's file naming scheme (look at the comic on dilbert.com to see what I'm talking about) I have data going back to early august, but if anyone else has more info, let me know .

If there's interest, I can even tell you about fun with MSN. So many talks, so little time.

And Dec 6th is my birthday, so someone better bring a damn cake.

I'm thinking about doing a talk on an intro to quantum cryptography for the December meeting, if anyone's interested. I'm going away with my family for a week, and hopefully I'll have enough time to do some research and gather info. It's not really a sure thing, but assuming I can grab the info I need to make a decent talk, it should be good to go by the time the December meeting rolls around. I'll post later on if i get the report compiled in time to do the talk.
