Talk Ideas for 2600

This thread is here so you can post your idea for a talk for 2600. I say post your idea because I know that some of you don't want to talk at 2600, however, if you have an idea for a talk you would like to see. Post here and maybe someone will do it. It's hard to keep coming up with ideas.

I will not be at next month's 2600, as the SEMA show in Las Vegas ends on the first weekend of November.

I do have an idea for a talk i might be persuaded to put together for the December meeting.

I've been taking a Telecommunication Policy class this semester, and i think some of this stuff is really pretty cool. It's not so much technical as it is political and deals with policies that eventually led to the Telecom Act of 1996. What has followed since then has been obvious to all of us, and understanding this a little better might help people get an idea of why things are the way the are.
